Have you heard that the average age of dentures is 16 years old? And have you heard that if you take care of your false teeth, it’s possible that they could last even longer than that? We hope that the following information on treating dentures can be advantageous for you

Using false teeth might seem simple, but there are a few things you should do if you want them to last as long as possible. False teeth should be cleaned at least once per day since plaque and tartar can accumulate on them, just as they do for real teeth. Plaque accrual can destroy the tight fit of false teeth and may lessen their luster over time. Clean the dentures by brushing them two times daily, then let them sit in a glass of non-abrasive dental cleaner so they can remain moist overnight; always remember to flush them off after they’ve sat in the cleaning solution. This will allow the false teeth to become clean and assist your oral cavity to heal itself. (Sleeping with false teeth still in your mouth is like wearing shoes to bed!)
